과도하게 빠른 속도는 사고를 휘둘리게 하고, 느린 속도는 발전의 기회를 얻지 못하게 합니다.

Therefore, people always try to find their own pace of life through 'leisure'

그렇기에 사람들은 항상 ‘여가’를 통해 자신의 삶의 속도를 찾고자 노력합니다.

This can be seen from efforts to slow down a little bit through travel and camping,

여행, 캠핑을 통해 삶의 속도를 조금은 낮추거나,

or to speed up through exercise and social activities.

운동과 사교활동을 통해 속도를 내는 노력들에서 이 사실을 알 수 있습니다.

We chose the metronome as a tool to tell people the speed of life. The metronome is able to control the speed and gives you an accurate beat. If you define the metronome as simply a instrument that measures the beat of a piece of music or represents the tempo, then all metronomes will lose their reason for existence. Physical existence can all be replaced with a smartphone.

우리는 삶의 속도를 알려주는 도구로 메트로놈을 선택했습니다. 메트로놈은 속도 조절이 가능하며, 정확한 박자를 알려줍니다.

이때, 메트로놈을 단순히 ‘악곡의 박자를 측정하거나 템포를 나타내는 기구’라고 정의한다면, 메트로놈의 존재 당위성은 힘을 잃게 됩니다.

메트로놈의 물리적 존재성은 스마트폰으로 그 기능을 모두 대체 할 수 있습니다.
